I'm an instructional designer, editor, and writer, specializing in the engagement of diverse learning styles; accessibility; assessment methods; and the effective use of adult learning theories, including the ADDIE model. I have a master's degree in education, a bachelor's degree in English, and a background in teaching. I have had opportunities for leadership experience, including the creation and long-term facilitation of a knowledge management process for a team of about 20 and the co-creation and facilitation of a process improvement committee for a department of more than 60 individuals. I am an enthusiastic team participant, and I think effective teamwork is essential for the development of an excellent product, whether it is a complex, scenario-based multimedia engine, a new program offering, or simply an update to web content.

On a personal level, I'm an anglophile, egyptophile, history hound, Shakespeare nut, theater geek, and damfino. I have two feline fur-babies named Oliver and Oscar. I enjoy many hobbies, including various crafts and writing.
